In over 40 years with Fortune 500 companies including Proctor & Gamble, GE, Lockheed Martin and Fluor, I have held senior management roles and led engineering research, design, testing, technical service and production support operations. All of this experience has been in roles involving technically complex products and processes with technically skilled people. I’ve found  that innovation, quality, new business development and leader development, all essential to business success, require skillful execution of business AND engineering activities. Dr. Peter Rosecrans - Founder

Dr. Peter Rosecrans started Rosecrans Consulting after 48 years in engineering and business leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies. Key senior leadership roles include General Manager of Lockheed Martin’s Archbald PA Operations, Research Director for Energy at Lockheed Martin’s Corporate HQ, Director of Advanced Reactors and of Materials Science & Engineering at the Knolls Atomic Power Lab (GE and Lockheed Martin) and Chief Engineer for the Naval Nuclear Laboratory’s Advanced Technology & Innovation (Fluor) initiative.

He holds BS, M.Eng. and PhD degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and has participated in management training through the MIT Systems Dynamics Program, GE & Lockheed Martin Leadership Series and RPI’s Management Development Program. Dr. Rosecrans has held non-profit Board Director positions with the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce and Lackawanna Industries Fund Enterprises, United Neighborhoods of Northeast PA, the Greater Capital Region United Way and Schenectady County United Way (both NY). In addition, he has held External Advisory Board positions with Sandia National Laboratory and the RPI Department of Mechanical, Aeronautical and Nuclear Engineering. He served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at RPI and taught in-company courses in leadership, ethics, quality, creativity and team-building.
